Hello! I’m Ilona Romiszvili, an 21-year-old children’s book illustrator and author living in France. I love creating whimsical and colourful worlds, filled with joyful characters—both humans and animals! But I also enjoy working on more serious subjects as well.
I am autistic, and so it really is important to me to depict a variety of characters, and to show a certain diversity in my work. I hope it shows, and that everyone can feel seen.
I have self-published three books so far, written and illustrated by myself, and I have also worked with authors.
